RAMBAN, Jan 18: On the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand and Rajmata Jijabai, Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha, Ramban organized a function under the leadership of Karan Dev Singh Chib, district Sabha president for Ramban.
The function was organised with the objective to promote Swami Vivekananda’s ideology and emphasize the pivotal role of mothers in child development, drawing inspiration from Rajmata Jijabai, mother of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
On this occasion, Rajput Sabha’s new office at Ramban was inaugurated by Mangleshwar Singh Slathia, general secretary of the Sabha, Jammu.
Various issues for the betterment of the Sabha and Rajput community like distribution of scholarship among meritorious students of Rajput Community of Ramban were discussed in a meeting.
Issues like establishing new branches of the Sabha, distributing widow pension, money to needy Rajput girls for their marriages and other burning issues of the community were also discussed.
Narinder Singh presented a comprehensive overview of the Sabha.
The meeting was attended by Dharam Chand Anthal, chairman Ramban, Raj Singh Bali, stage secretary, Surinder Singh, district vice president, Kousal Singh, organizer, Dheeraj Singh, Tehsil president, Ramsoo/ Ukhral, Vir Singh, Tehsil president, Gandhri, Bhushan Thakur, Block president Metra, Rangeel Singh, Kailash Singh, Ashok Singh, Patel Singh, Dilbagh Singh and others.
District president Karan Dev Singh delivered vote of thanks.
