Rajput Sabha holds meeting at Peouni, discusses welfare measures

MAJALTA, July 7: Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha held a meeting at Devsthan Baba Buddhar Peouni, Tehsil Majalta, under the chairmanship of Mangleshwar Singh, general secretary of the Sabha and Sakha sabha president Kulbir Singh.
The meeting was organized to discuss various issues for the welfare of the Sabha and community besides distributing scholarship among meritorious students of Rajput community of Tehsil Majalta.
The meeting decided to establish new Shakha Sabhas, construct Rajput community hall at Peouni, distribute widow pension and financial assistance to needy Rajput girls for their marriage.
The Sabha also discussed how to generate funds for the construction of community hall at Peouni, which is prime need for the community.
General Secretary of the Sabha, Mangleshwar Singh assured the gathering that their genuine demands and issue of construction of community hall will be taken up before the central body for positive consideration.
Narinder Singh presented a comprehensive overview of the Sabha, work and progress over many years offering insights into the Rajput Sabha, Purani Mandi, vision and roadmap for the future of the Rajput biradari. He emphasized character building of the youth and need for reform in the society.
The meeting was also addressed by Narinder Singh (Executive Member), Sham Singh (Advisor), Dr Deepak Slathia (Advisor), Kulbir Singh Bandral (Sakha Sabha President, Peouni), Parshotam Singh, Rajesh Singh (Lambardar), Kulbushan Singh (Ex-service men President), Rajesh Singh, Dr Romesh Singh and Yudhveer Singh.
