SAMBA, Aug 18: Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha held a meeting, here today under the chairmanship of Naryan Singh, former president of the Sabha and distributed scholarship among meritorious and needy students of the Rajput community.
The meeting was organized by Capt Inder Singh Sambyal, Distt President Samba and discussed key issues such as establishment of new Shakha Sabhas, distribute widow pension, provide financial assistance for the marriage of Rajput girls, and distributing scholarship to needy students of Rajput community.
On the occasion, the Sabha distributed scholarship to the tune of rupees 1,30,000/- to meritorious students of Rajput community in district Samba. It was informed that the Sabha has planned to distribute rupees 3,50,000/- scholarship to meritorious student of Rajput community of various regions of Jammu province.
Naryan Singh presented a comprehensive over view of the Sabha, its works and progress over many years. He offered insights into the Rajput Sabha’s vision and roadmap for the future of the Rajput Biradari. He emphasized to character building of the youth and need for reform in the society.
All speakers called for unity among all Rajput communities, stressing that collective efforts and measures need to be taken for securing the future of the Rajput community.
The meeting was addressed by various members, including, Mangleshwar Singh, (General Secretary), Narinder Singh, Executive Member, Narinder Singh Chib, Karan Singh, Nasib Singh Rakwal, Capt Inder Singh Sambyal (Distt. President Samba), Karan Singh Sambyal (General Secretary, Samba), Jaidev Singh Sambyal, Raj Singh (Sambyal Biradari President, Samba), Shambu Singh (Sambyal Biradari Vice President), Vinod Singh (Binny) (Ex-Corporator), Amar Singh Sambyal (Ex-President, BJP Distt. Samba), Capt Wariyam Singh, Kulbir Singh, Capt Anirudh Singh and others.
