SUNDERBANI, Aug 4: Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha distributed scholarships to economically weaker and meritorious students of Rajput community in Sunderbani and adjoining areas.
In this connection, a grand meeting at the Sabha was held at Sunderbani in District Rajouri, under the chairmanship of Vice President Jagdish Singh and Shakha Sabha Sub-Division Sunderbani President Master Parshotam Singh.
On the occasion, Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha distributed Rs 72,500/- as scholarship to meritorious and needy students of Rajput community in tehsil Sunderbani.
The meeting also discussed various measures for the betterment of the Sabha and Rajput community in the area, such as establishment of new Shakha Sabhas, construction of Rajput community hall at Sunderbani, distribution of widow pension to economically weaker Rajput women, providing money to needy Rajput girls for their marriage and other issues.
Participating members shared their insights and suggestions on how to promote the Sabha’s objectives and serve the community more effectively.
The General Secretary of the Sabha, .Mangleshwar Singh assured the gathering that their genuine demands and the issues of construction of community hall will be taken up before the central body and fulfilled in a short time.
Narinder Singh presented a comprehensive overview of the Sabha and emphasized character building of the youth, need for reform in the society.
All speakers called for unity among Rajput community stressing that collective measures be taken securing the future of the Biradri.
The meeting was also addressed by Balbir Singh, Karan Singh, Sukhdev Singh, Uttam Singh Manhas, Nirmal Singh Langeh, Parshotam Singh, Swarn Singh Chib, Jasbir Singh Chib, Vakil Singh, Sukhdev Singh Jamwal, Anil Singh and Darshan Singh.
