JAMMU, Mar 30: Expressing solidarity with the families of Policemen who attained martyrdom in Kathua encounter and also seeking a befitting reply to Pakistan for its continuous support to terrorists, members of Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha held a strong protest demonstration, here today.
Shouting slogans against Pakistan, the protesting Rajput Sabha members torched an effigy and demanded stern action against the neighbouring country besides crushing the terrorism with an iron hand.
While addressing the gathering, Rajput Sabha General Secretary Mangleshwar Singh expressed concern over the increasing militancy related incidents in Jammu region during the past some time.
He lauded security forces for their valour and the common people who informed the administration about the presence of militants. “The administration and police have done a great job together and eliminated the terrorists before they could enter safer zone or inflict more damage,” he added.
Balbir Singh, District President Rural; Pawan Dev Singh, Distt president Urban; Narinder Singh, Dilip Singh, Sukhdev Singh, Dhruv Singh, Jaidev Singh, Hari Singh, Mubarak Singh, Karan Singh, Mulkir Singh, Deepak Singh, Ajju Singh, Naseeb Singh and others also addressed the gathering.
They demanded a befitting reply to Pakistan for its continuous support to terrorists and attempting bloodshed in Jammu and Kashmir.
