Rajput ex-servicemen highlight grievances

JAMMU, Aug 14: Retired Rajput Defence personnel today highlighted various issues confronting the community including rising trend of un-employment among Rajput educated youths, during a meeting held here today.
A large number of Rajput Ex-servicemen as well as retired personnel from paramilitary forces hailing from Kathua, Samba, Jammu, Poonch, Udhampur, Rajouri and other districts of Jammu region attended the meeting.
The meeting said that the due to discriminatory attitude of the State Government as well as Central Government the unemployment in educated Rajput youths is increasing. The retired personnel stated that they had given their prime life for the service of nation and as such they deserve due consideration from the Government towards their wards in the matter of employment.
All the participants unanimously resolved that a beautiful statue of Maharaj Gulab Singh be installed at Kunjwani Chowk, the site already identified by the then Chief Minister of the State.
