JAMMU, Dec 9: Member Legislative Council and senior BJP leader, Advocate Vibodh Gupta said that Rajouri will have soon Rs 80 crore worth Gas Accessories Plant which will open new era in the field of Industries in Rajouri.
Gupta today called on Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Prakash Ganga and discussed various issues pertaining to Industrialization in Rajouri.
He said that he had earlier taken various issues with the Minister regarding opening of Gas Accessories Plant and now Minister has agreed to open the plant in Rajouri.
He said that the Plant of the cost of Rs 80 crore will be first big Industrial Unit in Rajouri which will open new chapter in the development of industrialization in the area.
The MLC said that there are various accessories used with LPG cylinders namely stove, regulator, pipes etc which are imported from outside, adding that there are thousands of LPG Gas connections in Rajouri and Poonch and all those people who are having Gas connection in their homes will take benefit from this Industry.
He said that opening of this Plant in Rajouri will also create job avenues for the unemployed youth of the district who are trying hard to get jobs in other parts of the state and country.
Meanwhile the MLC also discussed issue of Industrial Estate of Rajouri and requested for extending the area so that new Industries are opened and jobs are given to the unemployed youth.
He said that existing Industrial estate have no more place of extension which has blocked the scope of industrial development.
