Mysterious deaths in Badhaal village

RAJOURI, Jan 15: The District Court Bar Association, Rajouri, convened an extraordinary meeting under the chairmanship of its president, Advocate Khilat Mehmood Bhat, to address the mysterious deaths of several residents, including minors, in village Badhaal, Tehsil Khawas (Kotranka), District Rajouri.
The Association unanimously passed a resolution urging the Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh to intervene in this alarming matter.
The resolution expressed deep concern over the failure of authorities to investigate these tragic deaths adequately, despite repeated appeals from the public. This inaction has caused widespread distress and eroded trust in the administrative machinery. The Bar Association condemned the negligence of officials and called for a fair, transparent, and time-bound investigation into the matter.
The Association appealed for judicial intervention to ensure accountability of the responsible officials and to restore public confidence in the system. It emphasized that timely action is critical to providing justice to the grieving families and upholding faith in the justice system.
The Bar Association hopes for prompt action from the Court to address this urgent issue.
