JAMMU, July 23: To discuss the current political situation in Jammu and Kashmir, senior Congress leader and treasurer of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), Rajnish Sharma Mian, today met with Dr Syed Naseer Hussain, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and AICC general secretary In-charge for Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, in New Delhi.
During the meeting, both leaders held an in-depth discussion on the growing concerns of the people, the demand for restoration of full Statehood, rising unemployment and strengthening the Congress party at the grassroots level.
Sharma emphasized the need to intensify the party’s outreach programs in Jammu & Kashmir and address public grievances through consistent political engagement.
Dr Hussain assured full support from the central leadership and reiterated Congress’s commitment to safeguarding democratic values and the rights of the people of J&K.
The meeting also highlighted upcoming strategies for the party’s organizational development and political mobilization in the region.
