JAMMU, Aug 1: Former MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta today met the Chief Engineer, PHE, Department , Sanjeev Chaddha to discuss various projects for Jammu East with him. Chief Engineer was asked to prepare DPR for five new tube wells to be installed and also asked to frame proposal for Dedicated Feeders.
Gupta expressed serious concern over the inadequate water supply in Jammu East for last one month with the result the people of the constituency are suffering a lot. He asked the Chief Engineer to execute all the projects related to water supply in an expeditious manner so that the sufferings of the people are mitigated.
Gupta said that Modi Government has changed the developmental profile of the entire country and Jammu is no exception. He added that “we can see all round development in building of the infrastructure in Jammu be it multi story Car Parking Project or the coming up of the institutions of national repute like IIT and AIIMS”.
At the same pace of development the day is not far when India would be a five Trillion economy. He added that each one of us has to become a partner and contribute in the development of the country.
