KATHUA, Sept 15: The standing crops were destroyed in hilly reaches of Kathua district including Bani, Billawar and Basholi due to heavy rains and hailstorm that lashed the area this evening.
According to reports that entire standing crops of pulses, beans and maize was destroyed due to hailstorm and heavy rains in the hilly reaches of Bani, Billawar and Basholi that lashed the area this evening putting the farming community to a grave loss.
