Raina, Zulfkar urge GoI for thorough probe in Badhaal incident

JAMMU, Jan 18: Senior BJP leaders Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali (a former Minister) and Ravinder Raina (ex-J&K BJP president) have called on the Government of India (GoI) to conduct a thorough investigation into the tragic Badhaal incident, which has claimed 16 lives so far.
In a statement, the leaders emphasized the need for immediate action to uncover the circumstances surrounding the heartbreaking tragedy. They assured the public that the BJP stands committed to ensuring justice for the victims and their families.
Responding promptly to their appeal, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has constituted an inter-ministerial team to visit the site and ascertain the facts. The team will carry out an in-depth assessment to determine the causes of the incident and recommend measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
Expressing gratitude to the Home Minister for his swift and decisive response in addressing this serious issue, both Zulfkar Ali and Ravinder Raina said the probe is expected to provide much-needed clarity and pave the way for accountability while offering solace to the bereaved families.
