KATHUA, Dec 10: A new goods shed at Chhan Arorian Station on Jammu-Kathua section of the Northern Railway’s Jammu Division, has been inaugurated to handle both inward & outward freight movement.
Designed for seamless loading-unloading, the facility will operate 16 hours daily (6 AM-10 PM), enhancing convenience for traders and enabling full goods train operations – significantly boosting the station’s freight handling capacity.
Information in this regard had been shared by Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh on his X handle, with a post: “Northern Railway’s Jammu Division continues to boost efficiency in its freight network. A new goods shed at Chhan Arorian Station (#Jammu-#Kathua section) has been inaugurated to handle both inward & outward freight movement.”
