JAMMU, Mar 19: AICC (I) vice president Rahul Gandhi last night reviewed the working of J&K PCC (I) in New Delhi with top party leaders.
The meeting discussed organizational matters in the State.
The meeting besides Rahul was attended by Ahmad Patel, Janardhan Dwivedi, Mohan Prakash, Incharge Jammu and Kashmir, PCC (I) chief Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz, Abdul Manan and Ashok Tanwar, Secretaries AICC (I).
The meeting today several decisions to strengthen Block and District Congress Committees in the State. It decided to ask the Congress cadre to perform their role for the upcoming elections to second and third tiers of the Panchayats.
Prof Soz apprised Rahul Gandhi that elections would be held very soon to the Local Bodies.
