Raghav’s 71 goes in vain as Satyabrat, Sanat help DPS to script big win

JAMMU, Jan 12: Raghav Sharma’s splendid innings of 77 runs went in vain as Sanat Anand and Satyabrat helped Delhi Public School (DPS) to drub Little Flower School by a margin of 60 runs in the ongoing Under-16 Boys Cricket Tournament, being held under the supervision of cricket coach, Sunil Kumar at Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy (MGCA), here.
Earlier, batting first, DPS scored a mammoth total of 213 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Satyabrat top scored with unbeaten 54 runs, while Raj Partap, Sarthak Peshin and Aryan Gandral contributed 46, 39 and 28 runs to the total respectively. For Little Flower School, Raghav Sharma was the top scorer with 77 runs, while Vinayak and Shah Tallah contributed 18 and 17 runs to the total respectively. Sanat Anand was the pick of the bowlers for DPS, who took 4 important wickets, while Anmol Manhas captured 2 wickets. Shreyans and Satyabrat claimed one wicket each. Sanat and Sayabrat were adjudged joint winners of the man of the match award.
