JAMMU, Feb 10: Two IAS officers, one hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and another belonging to erstwhile J&K cadre, have been empanelled for holding the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Centre.
They include Sushma Chauhan, an erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir cadre officer (now AGMUT) and Raghav Langer, an Uttarakhand cadre officer and a native of Jammu, who also served in J&K for few years.

Both of them are 2009 batch officers of IAS.
A total of 16 IAS officers were empanelled as the Joint Secretaries by the Central Government today.
Sushma Chauhan held the posts like Deputy Commissioner of Samba and Jammu among others while Raghav Langer served as DC Kathua, Divisional Commissioner Jammu and Administrative Secretary Planning etc.
