Rag-picker found dead in drain

JAMMU, Apr 4: An unidentified rag-picker was today found dead in a drain in Subhash Nagar area of city outskirts.
“The dead body of an unknown man of age about 40 years was spotted this afternoon in a drain at Subhash Nagar near Government quarters,” a police official said. He said that the man appears to be a rag-picker and probably died of head injury, he received due to accidental fall in the drain.
“The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem”, he said, adding the deceased man is wheatish in colour and was wearing brown colour trousers and sky blue shirt.
