JAMMU, Nov 9: President, People Democratic Party (PDP), Mehbooba Mufti has appointed Rafiq Malik as State president of Labour Wing (Unorganized Labour Wing).
An order was issued in this regard by the party here, today.
Addressing party men, PDP MLC, Surinder Choudhary said that Labour Cell was without any head and no one was there to raise the issue of laborers and PDP is the only party, which has taken up this step. Now those people will also get the support of our party and new State president, Rafiq Malik will solve their issues, which were pending from a long time.
Rafiq Malik expressed his gratitude for the Mehbooba Mufti and other party workers for appointing him to the post. He said that the party has expressed their full faith in his work and has handed over the charge of labour sector, to him. “I wanted to assure the party workers as well as the members of this wing that I will try my hard to solve their problems”, he added.
Among others who were present in the function included RK Bali, State office in charge, Ch Hussain Ali Waffa, State secretary, S Narinder Singh Rena, TPT president, Ajay Raina, Shakeel Ahmed, and Danish Verma.
