JAMMU:
Governor N N Vohra today appointed Prof R D Sharma, presently Acting Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu, as Vice-Chancellor for a period of three years.
Mr Vohra, who is also the Chancellor of the University of Jammu took the decision in consultation with Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, who is Pro-Chancellor of the University.
Prof Sharma joined the teaching profession in 1980, became Reader in 1987 and Professor in 1994. He, now, is the senior most Professor of Jammu University. (AGENCIES)
