UDHAMPUR, Oct 19: In a significant step towards enhancing healthcare facilities in the region, Ranbir Singh Pathania, MLA Udhampur East, inaugurated the construction of NTPHC Chiryee building today.
The project, with an investment of Rs 2.34 crores, will feature essential amenities including an immunization room, examination hall, toilets, wards, and doctor rooms.
In his address at the inauguration ceremony, Pathania emphasized that quality healthcare is the cherished slogan of Modi Sarkar. He highlighted the Government’s commitment to providing comprehensive healthcare services that encompass primary, secondary, and tertiary interventions at affordable costs right at the doorsteps of citizens.
Pathania elaborated on the transformative impact of the Aayushman Bharat scheme, stating, “The introduction of Aayushman cards has revolutionized the healthcare landscape in India, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir, where access to quality services has been a challenge. Every resident is now entitled to treatment coverage of up to Rs 5 lakhs, ensuring that no one is deprived of necessary medical care.”
Reiterating his dedication to improving healthcare standards in Udhampur East, Pathania assured residents that he remains committed to providing state-of-the-art healthcare facilities that cater to their needs.
The event was graced by several local leaders including Atul Sharma, Srishta Devi, Pawan Sharma, Subash Sharma (Sarpanches), Chain Singh Dehati, Sanjay Kumar, Nirmala Devi, Karambir Singh, Ravinder, Bhallab and many others.
