JAMMU, Oct 6: As part of its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment, Puri Oil Mills Limited, promoter of the iconic P Mark Mustard Oil, distributed relief bags containing essential food supplies to the families hit by recent floods in Jammu.
Each relief bag contained wheat flour, rice, lentils, salt, turmeric, chilli powder and mustard oil to ensure essentially nutritional support for the households struggling to rebuild their lives after the devastation.
Tejasvini Puri, Director at Puri Oil Mills Limited said: “Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the floods in Jammu, Punjab and Himachal. In moments of such hardship, it is our responsibility as a socially conscious business to stand with the communities we serve. Through this relief initiative, we aim to provide families with essential food support, offering comfort and stability in these difficult times.”
The Director further said that they believe in giving back to the society as a gesture of gratitude for the trust and loyalty their customers have shown to them over the years.
The relief bags were distributed at Halqa Sohanjana Block Mandal Phailian, Jammu and Panchayat, Hanso Chack and Fatehpur, R.S Pura in-coordination with Sarpanch Balbir Singh and Sarpanch Raspal Singh respectively.
By providing essential relief aid in the aftermath of natural calamity, Puri Oil Mills Limited has reaffirmed its vision of standing beside the people not only during times of celebration but also through periods of adversity.
