JAMMU, Dec 10: Nat Manch presented a Dogri skit “Pukaar” in two days Annual Skit festival 2014 held at Red Cross Auditorium, Kachi Chawani Jammu today.
Skit was directed by Tarun Sharma, a theme based skit in which artist of Nat Manch highlighted the issues related human rights. Skit revolves around the story of villagers living near the International Border. The issues and life of people living at international border was also highlighted in the skit.
The message of peace and brotherhood was also delivered through the skit “Pukaar”. In the last, Rahul a character in the skit said that people living near borders have lost lives in wars and proxy war situations. We should spread peace, brotherhood, prosperity and live like brothers globally. Instead of war we should work on issues like poverty, health and peace.
Artist who performed in the skit were Rahul Kumar, Rahul Verma, Mohit Sharma, Rishab Salgotra, Sourav Mehra, Nikhil Verma, Nikhil Sharma and Ranjeet Singh. Skits on blood donation and deforestation were also performed on the occasion by Maa Vaishno Devi Parivaar Club and Dr Ambedkar Convent School Rajpura Jammu.
R C Puri, Secretary, Red Cross Jammu Region inaugurated two days Annual Skit festival which is organised by Nirvana Academy a regd. Cultural club, Federation of Indian Blood Donor Organisations in collaboration with Red Cross Jammu Region.
The two day programme is organised with the aim to spread the message on World Human Rights Day.
