JAMMU, Aug 25: The Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) will be organizing a grand Education Summit on 8th September 2025 at Srinagar.
This was announced by Dr Anshu Kataria, president, PUCA, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, in a press conference held here today.
Addressing the conference Dr Kataria said PUCA will provide Rs 50 crore in scholarships to support needy and deserving students of Jammu & Kashmir for pursuing their higher studies in Punjab colleges.
He said, “Around 20 renowned colleges of Punjab will participate in the Summit, providing students with information and guidance on various higher education opportunities. The event will also witness the participation of around 200 education counselors across J&K.”
Among other who will participate in the upcoming education Summit in Srinagar included, renowned institutions including Aryans Group, Chandigarh, Amritsar Group of Colleges, Amritsar; Amritsar College of Nursing, Amritsar; Akal College, Mastuana Sahib; Ashoka Group of Institutions, Patiala; Bharat Group of Colleges, Sardulgarh; Global Group of Institutes, Amritsar; Golden Group, Gurdaspur; Gulzar Group of Colleges, Khanna; Jain Group of Institutions, Abohar; KC Group of Institutions, Nawashehar; Quest Group of Institutes, Jhanjeri; Saraswati Group of Colleges, Maur Mandi (Bathinda); SBS Group of Educational Institutions, Patti; Shiva Group of Colleges, Himachal Pradesh; St. Mary’s Rehabilitation University, Hyderabad; Sukhjinder Group of Institutes, Gurdaspur; SVIET Group, Banur, Rajpura; Universal Group of Institutions, Lalru and Vidya Jyoti Eduversity, Derabassi.
