VIJAYPUR, Dec 24: Three months “Upper Class Course” (Pre-Promotion Course) of a batch of 184 Police personnel (ASIs) from Executive cadre of Jammu and Kashmir Police concluded today at Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur, which was conducted for the first time at the Institute.
On this occasion, a valedictory function was organized at the Institute, which was graced by SSP Dushyant Sharma- Principal PTTI Vijaypur. He congratulated the trainees for successful completion of their training course and stressed upon them to work with more zeal and dedication to make the force more effective and people friendly. He said that the objective of the course was to hone the skills of Police personnel and expose the trainees to the latest tools and techniques which would add substantial value to their existing knowledge and skill base and definitely help these Police personnel in performing their field duties more effectively.
Besides, one week “Role Based Training Course on CCTNS” also concluded today at PTTI Vijaypur in which Police personnel of various units of Police department participated.
Principal PTTI Vijaypur, while speaking on the occasion, said that the objective of the course was to enhance the capabilities and tactics of Police personnel in the areas of Crime Investigation and Criminals Detection, in information gathering, and its dissemination among various police organizations. The Principal further said that the knowledge gained by the trainees during the course will definitely help them while performing their official duties.
Among others, Khushwant Singh, DySP(Admn); Inspr Surinder Singh-CDI; SI Sulinder Singh-SM; SI Shakeel Singh-LO were present during valedictory function.
