JAMMU, July 23: A general body meeting of J&K Pensioners and Senior Citizens United Front (PSCUF) was held here today under the chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik, State president along with Yashpaul Sharma, State general secretary of the Front.
In meeting, a body of Front was constituted with Babu Hussain Malik as president; Rafiq Ahmed Khanyari, chairman; Yashpaul Sharma, general secretary; Girdhari Lal Manchanda, chief advisor; Darshan Magotra, vice chairman; Romesh Kumar Sharma, vice president; Madan Sangral, advisor; K.S Khalsa, publicity secretary; Prem Pal Singh, chief coordinator; Pawan Kumar, coordinator; Gitan Singh, joint secretary; Prem Thapa, secretary; Brig Mohan, press secretary; Ashok Kumar, treasurer; Subash Shastri, convener and Veerji Koul, chief organizer.
The meeting discussed several critical issues faced by the retired government employees of J&K and raised demands like release of GP Fund, leave salary, gratuity and other pensioners’ benefits.
Enhancement of Medical Allowances and release of pending DA from January 2020 were other demands discussed in the meeting.
