JAMMU, Sept 8: Cops from Police Station Peermitha today arrested a hardcore criminal, Rahil Gagotra, involved in multiple cases including attempt to murder and those of Arms Act violations and booked him under stringent Public Safety Act (PSA).
As per Police sources Rahil Gagotra, son of Parshotam Lal, resident of Bawe Wali Gali, Shaheedi Chowk, Jammu had multiple FIRs registered against him at various Police Stations.
A warrant of arrest under Public Safety Act Vide No. PSA/13 of 2025 dt 6/9/2025 under section 8(1)(A) of J&K Public Safety Act 1978 was issued against the accused by District Magistrate Jammu.
The relentless efforts of SHO Peermitha, SDPO City North Jammu under close supervision of SP City North Jammu resulted in the execution of the warrant.
The PSA warrant was executed by PSI Anshu Dubey of Police Station Peermitha and the accused was lodged in District Jail Udhampur.
