PSA Katra organizes charity show for flood victims

KATRA, Oct 21: The Private Schools Association (PSA) unit Katra organized charity show for flood affected victims of Jammu Province.
In this show, the students of various Private Schools of zone Katra participated.
The charity show was organized with the aim to generate funds for the flood victims of Village Saddal (Panchari), Private Schools of District Reasi and Udhampur.
The proceedings of the show were conducted by Ajay Singh Kotwal, while welcome address was presented by Ghansara Singh.
The amount donated by the donors in the show was Rs 3.45 lakhs.
On the occasion, Dr M K Kumar, Additional CEO Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board was the chief guest and it was presided over by Ajay Gupta, State Coordinator PSA J&K.
The students of the 21 Private Schools presented 25 colourful cultural items in the premises of Govt Higher Secondary School Katra.
The parents, teachers, students and the citizens of the Katra witnessed this colourful programme based on National Integration and Bharat Swash Abhiyan.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Shiv Kumar Sharma, president J&K Indian Free Style Wrestling Association, Mubarik Singh, Ravi Sharma, Tripta Devi, Sham Kesar, Sashi Bushan, B L Chiragi, Vipan Kumar, Ladi Sharma, Jatinder Heera, Sharda Devi and Aditya Sadhotra.
The vote of thanks was presented by R S Manhas, Ex Headmaster and chairman of the Private Schools Association of zone Katra.
