PSA extends support to Sept 7 strike call

JAMMU, Sept 5: Private Schools Association (PSA) Jammu has extended its support to the decision taken by President Joint Committee of Private schools, Kashmir to shut down Private educational institutions on September 7. This is in response to the call given by Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA).
In a statement, Ajay Gupta, State coordinator PSA J&K along with the general body assured telephonically G N Var, president Joint Committee of Private schools, Kashmir of full support on the genuine demands for the low budget Private schools of entire Jammu & Kashmir State.
As in September 2014, schools whether Private or Government suffered heavily due to torrential rains, Central and State Governments extended liberal, moral and financial support to rebuild residents, entrepreneurs, Government establishments including Government schools but totally ignored the losses suffered by private schools to their building, furniture, library, electric equipment, vehicles, fixtures and other items, said Ajay Gupta.
