PRP’s concern over delay in construction of New Ganderbal Power Project

SRINAGAR, Aug 12: Peoples Republican Party (PRP) in its meeting here today has expressed concern over the failure of Government in constructing the Ganderbal Hydel Project.
The chief spokesperson of the Party, Mir Ghulam Rasool while addressing the meeting said that for last two decades the Government has failed to construct the New Ganderbal Hydel Project on which work was started in nineties.
He said the State Government has failed to utilize the natural resources of power fully with the result the J&K is facing acute power crisis.
Mir also accused the coalition of its failure in fulfilling the poll promises made with the people and said the Ganderbal has been the most neglected district by the successive governments. He said the Bus Stand Ganderbal on which work has been started over four years back has not been completed while the District Hospital building on which work was started eight years back is also incomplete and the patients are suffering due to lack of facilities.
