JAMMU, Sept 5: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) JKUT president, Darshan Rana has said that Union Government should announce special package for the Jammu and Kashmir in view of massive devastation during recent rains, foods and landslides.
In a press statement Rana said that the BSP supremo Mayawati has assured the UT of Jammu and Kashmir as well as other flood affected states that BSP stands with the common people in this hour of crisis.
Rana said that in Jammu and Kashmir also, the leaders and workers of BSP are continuously meeting the flood affected people and they are being given all possible help. He said that along with district Jammu, BSP workers are serving the people with full responsibility and dedication in flood affected districts like Samba, Kathua, Kishtwar, Udhampur, Rajouri, Poonch and Ramban.
He said in this hour of crisis, everyone needs to come together and help the flood victims. He especially demanded from the Central and UT governments that they should perform their responsibly properly in this hour of crisis and take necessary steps to help the people.
