Protest of AJBRCEA Kashmir enters 101st day

JAMMU, Sept 9: The peaceful protest by All Jammu Based Reserved Category Employees Association (AJBRCEA), Kashmir entered 101st day at Dr BR Ambedkar Chowk, here today.
Raj Kumar (Teacher), husband of Martyr Rajni Bala participated in the peaceful protest today and paid a tribute to her along with other Jammu based employees. He addressed the gathering with a heavy heart and wished that no more incidents like that of Martyr Rajni Bala would be repeated in future.
Amidst slogans, the peaceful protest continued with motivational speeches and appeals to the Lt Governor led Administration by various employees regarding framing of a suitable comprehensive Transfer Policy and release of the withheld salaries of the employees.
It is pertinent to mention here that since the start of the peaceful protest on 1st of June 2022, the day after the targeted killing of Teacher Rajni Bala who was serving in Kulgam district of Kashmir division, all Jammu based employees serving in Kashmir Division participated and held the peaceful protest in a most dignified and peaceful manner till date.
The Association appealed the Lt Governor led Administration not to pressurize employees to resume their duties by way of withholding their salaries and issuance of the letter regarding the unauthorized absence and resumption of duties, etc.
