Protest continues for introduction of Dogri subject in newly upgraded schools

JAMMU, July 29: Pressing for their demand of Dogri subject in the newly upgrade Higher Secondary Schools, members of Dogri Students -Scholars Forum continued their protest and took out a rally, here today.
The protesting students raised slogans against the Government for ignoring Dogri subject notwithstanding the High Court order, dated 31/03/2018, directing that all regional languages should be made compulsory from primary level in all schools.
Dogri is our mother tongue and any type of discrimination with the mother would not be tolerated at any cost, they warned and announced to further intensify the protests.
The protest demonstration was addressed by DSSF member Kailash Mohan and others who also appealed the Governor to look into the matter and do justice with Dogri language.
