RAMBAN, June 11: To combat terrorism, police here today, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Banihal, attached the property of a terrorist Under Section 83 CrPC.

The attached property (immovable) included agricultural land measuring 1 Kanal 1 Marla registered in the name of one (Pak) settled militant Mohd Saleem, son of Abdual Hani Tantray, resident of Takia Tethar, Tehsil Banihal who was involved in an FIR of Police Station Banihal and is absconding after the commission of the offence with a motive to avoid legal proceedings.
The Court ordered attachment of his property after declaring him proclaimed offender.
Detail of the property attached is-land measuring 5 Marla in Khasra no. 1156, land measuring 1 Marla in Khasra no. 1161, land measuring 9 Marla under Khasra no. 1200, land measuring 5 Marla under Khasra no. 1425 and land measuring 1 Marla under Khasra no. 1435 located at village Tethar, Banihal.
The attachment is linked to a case of FIR no. 101/1992 U/S 436 RPC and Section 3/4 TADA of Police Station Banihal and was executed in presence of Police team and an Executive Magistrate.
