UDHAMPUR, Mar 5: As part of its relentless efforts against drug peddlers and smugglers, Udhampur Police has executed an attachment operation, resulting in the freezing/seizure of a Maruti Brezza bearing Registration No. JK14K-3532, worth approximately Rs 12 lakhs.
The vehicle belonged to notorious drug peddler Anil Kumar, son of Mool Raj Sharma, resident of Jib Fantyal, in district Udhampur.
The drug peddler Anil Kumar is presently lodged in District Jail Amphalla, Jammu, under the PITNDPS Act, in connection with Case FIR No. 223/2024, registered under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Rehambal.
The movable property (car) was identified as illegally acquired property during the course of investigation/inquiry conducted by police.
