RAJOURI, June 20: Rajouri Police today attached property worth Rs 8.57 lakh belonging to a notorious drug peddler in the Nowshera area.
The attached assets include a pakka single-storey residential house and a motorcycle bearing registration number JK11G5056, both belonging to Sajan Kumar alias Vicky, son of Om Parkash, resident of Sair Galla, Tehsil Nowshera, District Rajouri.
The attachment proceedings were executed in the presence of the concerned Executive Magistrate First Class under Section 68-F of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. The action is related to FIR No. 178/2024 registered at Police Station Nowshera under Sections 8, 21, 22, 27-A, and 29 of the NDPS Act, read with Sections 111 and 238 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
