
BJP stands for inclusive growth: Sat

JAMMU, Aug 19: Dozens of prominent people, including retired Government officials led by Ashok Kumar Pandey (retd. Principal+2) and Ashu Kumar Verma, today joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here.
The joining programme was organized by the BJP OBC Morcha, under the leadership of its president Brahamjyot.
The new entrants, over 50 supporters including youngsters and senior retired persons from various OBC communities, were welcomed in the party fold by J&K BJP president, Sat Sharma and other senior leaders.
In his address Sat Sharma said the joining of such prominent persons shows that the BJP is not just a political party, but the heartbeat of this nation. It is a mission rooted in nationalism, selfless service, and a resolve to make India a global leader. He said that every new member strengthens our resolve to achieve Prime Minister, Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat. He stressed that the OBCs form the backbone of India’s social fabric and economic strength, and their trust in the BJP is proof that our message of development, social justice, and cultural pride is resonating at the grassroots.
Sat Sharma added, “The BJP has always stood for inclusive growth, where every section of society finds representation and dignity. Together, we will ensure peace, progress, and prosperity in Jammu & Kashmir, and carry forward the movement of building a strong, united, and self-reliant India,” he added.
Brahamjyot in his address said that the massive support of the OBC communities to the BJP shows that people have rejected divisive politics. They see in the BJP a force that genuinely empowers the marginalized, ensures justice, and guarantees opportunities for all. Today’s joining is not just symbolic but historic, as it further cements the BJP as the true voice of social justice and grassroots empowerment, he added.
The programme witnessed the presence of State vice president Rash Paul Verma, MLA Bishnah Dr. Rajeev Bhagat, BJP SC Morcha President and DDC, Dharminder Kumar, former MLA Ashwani Sharma, district president Jammu Border Rinku Choudhary, FC Bhagat and other senior party leaders.
