JAMMU, July 26: Former BJP president & former Minister Sat Sharma in the presence of Kavinder Gupta, former Dy Chief Minister welcomed a number of prominent social and political persons into Bharatiya Janata Party at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here, today.
Prof Gharu Ram, DDC & former MLA, Ashwani Sharma, former MLA, Ch Vikram Randhawa, former MLC, DDC, Suresh Sharma, Jeet Angral, former JMC chairperson, and TK Sharma, co-convenor, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan also welcomed the new entrants into the party fold.
Santok Singh, Tulsi Thakur, Mohan Lal, Anil, Ghanshyam, Munish Kumar, Janak Raj, Sandeep Lamba, Dev Raj and others from diverse backgrounds were among the prominent people to join on the occasion.
Joining was facilitated with the efforts of Sardeesh Rana.
Sat Sharma, while welcoming the new entrants congratulated them for joining the largest political party of the word. He said that presently BJP enjoys the love and faith of the people due to its people centric policies and the development-oriented approach. He said that the Modi Government has fully focused on the welfare of the people who were neglected earlier due to the inconsistent and the policies of ill motives of previous Governments.
He said inspired by Modi Government’s good governance the people have developed a hope and faith on the political system and the leadership which is increasing the stature of the India and the Indians throughout the world.
Kavinder Gupta also welcomed the new entrants in the party with a thrust on their dedicated working in the service of nation and the society. He said that once they have joined the BJP, it would become their duty to first attend to the call of nation and the society putting them before ‘self’. He wished them good luck for their future endeavour.
Rest of the speakers including Ashwani Sharma Vikram Randhawa and others also welcomed the new entrants into the party fold and said that the party is getting support from all sections of society because of its mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas”.
New entrants expressed their preparedness to work for the welfare of the society as a dedicated worker of BJP.
