RAJOURI, Apr 11: Several prominent individuals, including retired Sub-Inspector Haji Razaq Choudhary from Pallulian Panchayat, joined Congress Party in Rajouri today.
A statement said the new entrants were welcomed into the Congress fold by MLA Rajouri, Iftkhar Ahmed, during an event that witnessed enthusiastic participation from party workers and local residents.
Those inducted into the party expressed confidence in the vision and policies of the Congress leadership and appreciated the efforts of MLA Iftkhar Ahmed towards the overall development and welfare of Rajouri.
Welcoming the new entrants, the MLA Rajouri hoped that the inclusion of experienced individuals like Haji Razaq Choudhary, along with other committed workers, will further strengthen the party at the grassroot level.
He appealed them to spread the mission of the policy effectively in the region.
