JAMMU, Mar 22: Project e-Hospital Employees’ Association, Jammu Division staged protest at Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu as part of their one-day strike, demanding release of pending salaries.
A number of employees of the Project e-Hospital participated in the protest. The protesting employees said that they Project employees working in CHCs and PHCs are without salary for last 36 months and those posted in District Hospitals have not been released salary since January 2020.
The Project employees urged the UT administration, particularly Financial Commissioner, Health and Medical Education Department and Mission Director, National Health Mission J&K and Director Health Services Jammu to release the salary of the employees who had worked tirelessly during Corona period in various hospitals of Jammu Division.
