JAMMU, Mar 25: Project e-Hospital Employees’ Association, Jammu Division continued their sit-in protest at Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, demanding release of pending salaries of the employees.
A number of employees of the Project e-Hospital participated in the protest. The protesting employees said that they Project employees working in CHCs and PHCs are without salary for last 36 months and those posted in District Hospitals have not been released salary since January 2020.
The Project employees urged the UT administration, particularly Financial Commissioner, Health and Medical Education Department and Mission Director, National Health Mission J&K and Director Health Services Jammu to release the salary of the employees who had worked tirelessly during Corona period in various hospitals of Jammu Division.
