Prof Vishwamurti Shastri nominated as “Hindi Salahkar Samiti” member

Jammu, Sept 18: Government of India has reconstituted the ‘Hindi Salahkar Samiti’ of the Ministry of Planning” where in Prof. Vishwamurti Shastri from Jammu & Kashmir among six others from rest of India has been nominated as non official member for the next three years by Ministry of Planning/Planning Commission Yojana Bhawan Sansad Marg New Delhi. Minister of State for planning will be the Chairman, Dr Charan Das Mahant & Prahlad Venkatesh Joshi are two MPs from Lok Sabha, Parvez Hasmi and Balwant alies Bal Apte are Two MPs from Rajya Sabha ,Two MPS from the Committee of Parliament on Official Language Pardeep Tamta and Dharmendra Yadav.
Planning Commission also nominated Representative from Kendriya Sachvalaya Hindi Parishad,Karnataka Mahila Hindi Seva Samiti Bangalore and Six other non official members from rest of the country wre nominated along with Prof. Vishwamurti Shastri from J&K. by Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Planning .
Hindi Salahkar Samiti will function to render advice for the implementation of policies laid down by Kendriya Hindi Samiti and Department of Official Language regarding the use of Hindi for official purposes in the Ministry of Planning.
Prof. Vishwamurti Shastri, Former Principal of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan  New Delhi (Deemed University Under the Ministry of HRD) having its Ranbir Campus in Jammu , he was also honoured by President of India  with President Award last year, Prof. Shastri is also associated with Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board  and Member of Sanskrit Gurukul at Katra other than these presently he is Coordinator of J&K for Non Formal Sanskrit Education.
