Prof Sanjay Khajuria of SKUAST-J gets ICAR Performance Excellence Award

JAMMU, Jan 13: Prof Sanjay Khajuria, presently working as Chief Scientist & Head at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Samba of SKUAST Jammu has been decorated with Performance Excellance Award by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research- Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute for Northern States with headquater at Punjab Agricultural University Ludhiana.
The Award was presented to him by Dr Rajeshwar Singh Chandel, Vice-Chancellor Dr Y S Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Solan, HP in august presence of Dr Gurcharan Singh, former Chairman ASRB, New Delhi, Dr Nachiket Director ICAR- CIPHET, Ludhiana, Dr P S Birthal, former Director NCAEPR, New Delhi & Dr Parvender Sheoron, Director ICAR- ATARI Zone-I(Northern states) in a simple but impressive function held at PAU Campus on the eve of foundation day of ICAR-ATARI Zone-I.
The award was conferred upon Prof. Sanjay Khajuria by ICAR in recognition of his exemplary leadership, exceptional commitment and innovative strategies towards implementation of frontline extension programmes and strengthening agricultural research and knowledge management.
