JAMMU, Aug 29: Prof K B Razdan’s newly published fourth anthology, titled ‘Gather Ye Rosebuds’ has hit the stands.
The anthology has 62 poems on multidimensional themes dwelling upon the prismatic shades and colours of human life and living.
The anthology has an erodite foreword written by Prof Ravinder Singh, Head Dpartment of English, University of Jammu. ‘Gather Ye Rosebuds’ also contains a special critical prologue under the caption ‘WHAT CRITICS SAY’, analogous to a critical commentary.
Prof Razdan is now acknowledged as a global poet being a permanent member of IAOE (International Academy Of Ethics, a conglomerate of poets from different countries across the globe. The anthology also makes common cause with the finest of the Anglo romantic and Victorian poetic traditions with very faint symbolic echoes.
‘Gather Ye Rosebuds’ presents to the lover of poetry a “palatable dish” of poems brimming with verisimilitude, hope, betrayal, pure love and above all bird songs and ditties of soul stirring poems.
Prof Razdan, also a permanent member of IAOE, has participated in many poetry recitation contests and few months back he was awarded a special prize for being adjudged as the poet of “World Poetry”.
‘Gather Ye Rosebuds’ as a poetic anthology reflects all that imagistic, symbolic and poetic depth of the poems as in Dr Razdan’s earlier anthologies.
