KARGIL, May 23: To mourn the martyrdom of Ayatullah Dr Ebrahim Raisi, the late President of Islamic Republic of Iran and companions, a massive procession was taken out from surrounding villages of Kargil town to Hussaini Park, here today, under the banner of Imam Khomieni Memorial Trust (IKMT) Kargil.
IKMT Kargil observed Majalis-e-Tarheem for three days in Jama Masjid, which culminated today with a grand procession. The people of Kargil, especially Muslims, expressed their shock and grief over the unfortunate incident that occurred in Iran.

Mourners, both men and women in thousands thronged the District Headquarter Kargil in black dresses carrying banners & Alams chanting Noha. Boy and girl students of Mutahhary Public Schools and Ulama of the organization also participated in the procession.
They chanted ‘Labaik Ya Khaminaie’, “Shahadat Shadat Saadat Saadat’ to condole the supreme leader of Islamic Republic and bereaved nation as well as families of martyred.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of IKMT, Hujatul Islam Sheikh Sadiq Rajaie conveyed condolence message on martyrdom of late President Ayatuallan Syed Ebrahim Raisi and other dignitaries of Islamic Republic of Iran. He prayed for stability peace and passions to the great Nation of Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Chairman also thanked The Union Government of India on declaring one day mourning on martyrdom of Ayatuallan Syed Ebrahim Raisi and others.
