Speaking on the occasion Jugal Kishore Sharma said that Mahila Morcha is a very important organ of the party and the same is clear from Party High Command’s decision to grant 33 percent reservation to the women in its organizational setup. The party is committed for the political empowerment of the women at all levels so that they become party to the decision making bodies and play an effective role to ensure that legislations aimed at welfare of the women are framed properly and implemented in letter and spirit.
Ashok Koul said that be it a political party, social organization or any other such dispensation, it cannot flourish and achieve the goal without the active involvement of the women. Only male dominated society cannot survive, he added.
Sakina Bano said BJP is really party with difference as it is the only political party in the country which is committed to welfare of every section of society.
Priya Sethi said that it is indeed a reward of my past services to the party in different positions. Taking the new responsibility as a challenge Priya Sethi said she along with her team will leave no stone unturned in strengthening the party and enrolling more and more women as its members.
