JAMMU, Aug 28: After the devastating flash floods that caused heavy losses to families and property in Jammu, vice president BJP and former Minister Priya Sethi today launched relief operations in Peerkho.
For the last two days, Sethi has personally supervised the distribution of essential relief material among affected families, reaffirming BJP’s commitment to stand with the people in every hour of need.
Speaking on the occasion, Sethi said, “BJP is not just a political party, it is a family that always rises to serve society during calamities. Under the visionary leadership of PM Narendra Modi, our karyakartas have been on the ground ensuring that no victim is left unattended. I wanted to assure my brothers and sisters that we will continue to support them until full normalcy is restored in this area.”
“Our people have shown immense courage in this testing time. It is our moral duty to extend every possible support. The BJP is fully committed to ensuring that rehabilitation measures are taken up on priority,” she said.
She also thanked Dr Rajinder Sethi, Swarankar Sangh and dedicated BJP karyakartas for extending wholehearted support in the relief and rescue operations.
