NEW DELHI: President Ram Nath Kovind on Monday paid floral tributes to former President R Venkataraman on his birth anniversary at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The President, family members of Venkataraman as well as officers and staff of the President’s Secretariat paid respects before a portrait of Venkataraman in Rashtrapati Bhavan, an official statement here said.
Born on this day in 1910, Venkataraman was the eighth President of the country from 1987 to 1992. (AGENCIES)
