NEW DELHI: President Ram Nath Kovind has summoned the Rajya Sabha to meet from December 15, 2017 to January 5, 2018.
”The President has summoned the Rajya Sabha to meet on Friday, the 15 December 2017, at New Delhi. Subject to exigencies of business, the Session is scheduled to conclude on Friday, the 5th January, 2018,”a communique from the Rajya Sabha Secretariat said on Sunday.
The Cabinet committee on Parliamentary affairs had earlier this week recommended to the President the holding of the Winter session of Parliament. (AGENCIES)
