Prabhat Singh Jamwal nominated as BJP State Treasurer

JAMMU, Nov 16: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Prabhat Singh Jamwal has been nominated as State Treasurer of the party.
The announcement in this regard was made by the BJP State president, Ravinder Raina (MLA) in consultation with State general secretary (Org.) of the party, Ashok Kaul and senior leaders of the party, here, today.
He will replace Chander Mohan Gupta, who has been elected Mayor JMC. He has served as State treasurer of the party for multiple terms. After Gupta’s election as Mayor the post of State treasurer in the party was vacant.
Prabhat Singh Jamwal is a strong RSS ideologue a Swayamsevak and a dedicated social activist who also played important role in Amarnath Andolan, Central University Andolan and many other Jammu based agitations.
