JAMMU, Oct 26 : As per Superintending Engineer EM & RE Circle Kathua, to carry out the work for charging DTs, the shutdown of Changran and City feeder emanating from 66/11 KV S/Stn. Changran is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Changran, Kukey Chak and Chack Desa will remain affected from October 27 to October 29 from 8 am to 12 noon.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out the work for erection, testing and commissioning of circuit breaker in 132 KV Kathua-II line under PSDF, the shutdown of 320 MVA, 220/132/66 KV Grid Station Hiranagar is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Kathua, Hiranagar, Samba, Dayalavhak, Chadwal, Part of Ghagwal, Sewa-II, Bishnah, Billawar, Mahanpur and adjoining areas will remain affected on October 28 from 8 am to 2 pm.
Meanwhile, for replacement and installation of 33KV VCB, CT, C&R panels, the shutdown of 33/11KV Sub-Station BB-II is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to BB-II and its adjoining areas will remain affected on October 28 from 8 am to 3 pm.
